ASUS Releases First Eee PC netbook with built-in Optical Drive

ASUS has officially announced 10-inch 1004DN netbook — the first Eee PC with a Super-Multi optical drive (reads and writes data to DVD/CD). It sports a high-gloss UV LED-backlit WSVGA LCD, alloy metal chassis and lightweight frame.

The Eee PC 1004DN is powered by Intel’s Atom N280 1.66GHz Processor, GN40 chipset, GMA 4500M graphics core, up to 2GB DDR2 RAM, 1.8″ 120GB 4200RPM Hard Drive and 6-cell 5200mAh battery.
